What is Clear Aligner Group?
C.A.G is an Orthodontic Group and a mutually beneficial business model that harmonizes the Dentist , Orthodontist, & Invisalign relationship. C.A.G helps to provide our dentist partners a streamlined Invisalign process that is efficient, predictable, profitable, and includes the added value of group buying power.
CAG has three key objectives:
Objective 1: Solve the disconnect & competative disharmony between Dentists and Orthodontists as it pertains to Invisalign
Objective 2: Improve case results, efficiency, profitability, and patient experience in the Dental office.
Objective 3: Drive Invisalign growth in both the Dentist and Orthodontic practice.
How does it work?
C.A.G connects it's member Dentists with an expert Virtual Invisalign Orthodontist that evaluates, treatment plans, supports, and streamlines all aspects of Invisalign treatment according to the dentists desired result. As a group, CAG leverages volume pricing and helps it's members save on Invisalign lab bill and iTero intra-oral scanners.
Meet the Founders
Dr. Firouz and Sean have a strong history reaching back to when Sean was Dr. Firouz's Invisalign Territory Manager when managing Beverly Hills and West LA for Align. Clear Aligner Group started from an idea to help dentists with clincheck treatment plans back in 2018, and is now a comprehensive & successful business model today. Dr. Firouz and Sean have decades of combined clinical and business experience to offer Dentists wanting to grow their Invisalign, improve the efficiency and results of their treatment, and make Invisalign more profitable than ever before!
Sean Y. Fahmi
CEO
Sean Yashar Fahmi is a creative and high energy entreprenuer with an infectious enthusiasm for life and people. He believes in a can-do, charged attitude, and always seeks to create mutually benefitial solutions. He embraces a customer first and high integrity mindest. Sean's ultimate mission is to help people smile more and to live more vibrantly. In addition, he seeks to help mother earth through charity, specifically focused on saving and planting more trees.
EDUCATION
Sean Fahmi graduated Agoura High School in 2001 and subsequently attended UC Santa Barbara. As a Guacho, he double majored in Business Economics and accounting. Sean has also partaken in numerous personal growth and business programs to futher advance himself professionally. He is an avid reader and loves to constantly learn.
PROFFESIONAL
Upon completion of his bachelors, Sean Fahmi followed followed his heart and began to walk the path of an entreprenuer with an all-in mindest.
For nearly a year, Sean worked tirelessly 7 days a week, making ends meet on weekends parking cars as a valet at Saks Fifth Avenue in Santa Barbara (to this day, it's his favorite job) and interning at his cousins (Dr. Sormeh Panah) dental practice in Manhattan Beach, California. His goal was to learn about Dentistry, particularly the business side.
During this time, Sean fell in love with cosmetic & restorative dentistry and more specifically the laborotory and milling side of things. This led to an opportunity to partner with a US trained dental tech, with the plan of starting a production lab in Vietnam. The initial version of DentalWorks, LLC was formed and Sean spent the next two years going back and forth to Vietnam to help with the business side of production there and with business development here in the States.
After struggeling to meet the US quality standard consistently, Sean decided to move production home and spent the next three years building the company to a million dollar annualized level. However, the labor intensive aspect of the lab made difficult to sustain consistancy and long term profit to his liking. As a result, Sean decided a change would be best. The experience he gained was invaluable as he formed a strong clinical foundation along with a deep knowledge about lab technology.
Still with the long term plan of building a successful company in mind, Sean sought to further improve his knowledge and took a corporate job as a territory specialist in the San Fernando Valley for Align Technology, the makers of Invisalign. During his nearly 6 years working for Align, Sean was promoted three times and earned numerous performance awards. He was ultimatly trusted to manage and grow the most prestegious territory in the company, Beverly Hills & Santa Monica, where he enjoyed his most success.
Now Sean is combining his business and corporate experience to create a innovative company bringing immense value to Dentist's and their patients.
PERSONAL
Sean is happily married to his dream girl and soulmate for 12 years. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing basketball, hiking, mountain running, dancing, practicing Qi Gong & Yoga, spending time in nature, and swimming & boogie boarding in the ocean.
Maurice Firouz, DDS, M.S.
Clinical Director
Dr. Maurice Firouz is one of the leading orthodontists in West Los Angeles. He is currently practicing clinical orthodontics at Firouz Orthodonitcs with a particular emphasis on craniodental development. He is also an Invisalign Diamond Plus top 1% certified provider and has treated over 2,000 Invisalign cases in his career. Dr. Firouz is currently treating over 80% of his patients with Invisalign and is very confident treating with the appliance even with what would be considered very advanced Orthodotic cases.
EDUCATION
Upon graduation from Beverly Hills high school with honors, Dr. Firouz attended UC Irvine. His major was biological sciences, paving the way to become an. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA, having graduated with numerous honors and awards. During that period he was the Treasurer for Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
After gaining his doctorate, Dr. Firouz enrolled in the orthodontics program at the University of Connecticut Health Center, completing a rigorous program with an emphasis on research, and the physics of tooth movement. Along with his orthodontic practice, he was a member of the admissions committee.
PROFFESIONAL
Upon completion of his orthodontic residency, he was offered a position as a lecturer at UCLA School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics. At the time, Dr. Firouz was the youngest faculty member at the age of 24. In that capacity, he was the chairman of the orthodontic lab course and taught orthodontic principles to dental students and graduate residents.
Additionally, he has lectured to professional dental organizations and held volunteer positions at the Assistance League of Upland, and at the UCLA Venice clinic. His research has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics.
Dr. Firouz has successfully treated over 10,000 adults and children over the course of his career, with complex cases involving orthognathic surgery, orthopedic development, preventive orthodontics, and adult and teen Invisalign.
As an orthodontics specialist and advisor, Dr. Firouz has been instrumental in the success of numerous multimillion dollar clinics. He has acted as the clinical and quality control consultant to very large dental corporations. He is currently practicing orthodontics in Brentwood, Beverly Hills, Montebello, and Alta Loma.
Dr. Firouz belongs to many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, California and American Dental associations to name a few.
PERSONAL
Dr. Firouz is happily married with three children. During his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, swimming, and traveling the world.
